Blake, the horse on the left, is a 21 year old roping horse that's still going strong. He's the 3rd horse for my 19 Over 19 Project . We started the session off with some portraits and then moved on to team roping and roped until there was no sunlight left. I got some gorgeous silhouettes, something rarely get to take during ropings. Here, M and her dad were walking back up to the boxes after roping a calf and the dust and sun lined up just right to make a heartfelt silhouette. Once they approve the rest of their photos, I'll be adding them to the blog!
