The fun part of being a traveling equine photographer is getting home at midnight and uploading photos at 0200 to ensure a quick turnaround. I live about 2 hours from Deming, but the photos are always worth the long drive. Buzz puts on amazing events! This is my second time covering a ranch rodeo, which has different events from a traditional rodeo - wild cow milking, team doctoring, stray gathering, and a 'branding' were last night's events. There's another ranch rodeo tonight in Deming if you're in New Mexico and looking for something exciting to watch!
