A birthday gift for my step-mother-in-law. *laughs*She likes unicorns,and her birthday party is today, So I had to get something done quickly...
if i had more time i woulda used some watercolours in there too...

I really like this, it's pretty much flawless.
it's a really inviting piece, and love the detail in the background, makes it look like you put it on a scale.
Your shading is nice and smooth and so is the lineart, I love seeing hand-drawn traditional art, especailly when it is as great as this.

thank you so very much! I'm not terribly good with traditional media or with mixed media, but I would love to be better at it, so I just keep trying.
Unfortunately the scanner picked up all the grain of the paper with pretty heavy shadowing.
