Thanks! The scan makes it look quite a bit bigger than actual size. I think the card was only 4x6"

Well, we're not certain she's dead...but it looks like she was picked off by an owl or died out in the woods, or something. But she was quite sweet, and distinctive with her one crippled ear...and then she just stopped coming around, so...

Thanks a lot~ I initially had planned to do the fur texturing with graphite, but I felt the tickling of squirrel fur might suit better to be done in ink. ^^

I think the ink does the picture better justice than graphite. Especially since graphite can practically ALWAYS be smudged, while with ink, you've just got to keep the piece dry and out of direct sunlight for the most part.

yah, these new microns still have perfect nibs, so really it's more making sure not to use too much pressure, but also working with the grain of the card stock. :3
