Okay so... I have decided that I like Valentines Day, it's a day to show people you care and all that 'nyehnyehnyeh I don't need a corporate sponsored holiday to tell someone I love them' just seems a little silly, surely you want to grab any excuse to do a little extra? Well that's how I feel anyway.

So this is me and the Boyfriend, we've been together for about a year and a half. He is wonderful.
When we first started going out he mentioned a series of books that were incredibly important to him growing up and we decided to read the trilogy together.

They were great books (The Farseer Trilogy) and for the next few months we'd spend ages discussing the latest chapters we'd read whilst apart, at the pub, in the garden, in bed, sat together with our individual copies with pages we'd marked so that we could remember a line or a scene to talk about.

I'm so lucky to have found someone who I can spend three hours going through the nuances of The Avengers Assemble with over a pint.
