Personality:
For the most part Tate is a carefree soul. He likes to have fun and do crazy things in a crowd. Most people would call him awkward, as the things he does tend to lead to awkward situations, but those who know him well understand that he likes 'awkward' and gets a thrill out of making others feel as such.
When it comes to studies though he is quite a genius. When he is home alone he reads and reads. His form of light reading is 'A-J' in an encyclopedia (which the subject of the encyclopedia varies.) He is thoroughly cunning. He loves problem-solving, and when in a fight despite his Gung-Ho personality he likes to think things through before engaging.
He likes to lie to people for fun, saying things like "I don't like taking my shoes off, I have webbed feet." But his moral conscience makes him admit he was lying almost immediately after. "I'm just kidding, See? Here! No webbed feet"

History:
Tate first met Tsunomon while he was at work at the grocery store. His boss asked him to go outside and collect the shopping cart. While doing so Tate noticed the small creature staring at him from under a shaded tree in the parking lot. Of course, Tate being the Curious type, went to see what it was and tried to pet it, but the creature backed off. But when Tate turned his back (about to go back inside the store) the little digimon began to fallow him. Tate turned back around right before he entered with the carts to see if it was still there, and noticed that the little monster was at his feet. He went inside and grabbed some food for the animal.
"Here you go" he said, "If you're still here when my shift ends, I'll take you home with me."
When Tate's shift ended, he returned to the spot where he left the food, and the Digimon was still there.
"Well i guess it's just you and me" He smiled and picked up the animal, got in his car and drove home.

Of course, there were shocks at first when Tate learned the digimons name and that the creature could speak. But they eventually became inseparable.

"Tate and Tsunomon, Frienamies"

Living:
Tate and Chelysmon live in the dorms between the Sol and the Lune. They live on the First Floor, Second closest room to the Kitchen.
Tate worked in a Grocery Store in America, So when he moved to Japan he also got a job at a Grocery Store there.
It's only a Subway ride away, so it's very convenient.
Tate only uses half of his paycheck for income. The other half is spent entirely on food stuffs.
He often volunteers to cook food for himself, his friends, and their digimon. If there is more to go around he's happy to share.
Tate Aspires to be a Zoologist. Most of the encyclopedias he has laying around are animal related. He wants to photograph and film animals in the wildlife. BUT with the recent introduction of digimon and the Digital world, he wants to bring record data on Digimon and be one of the first if not the first Digital Life Documentarians. Tate always carries a small digital camera with him, but he has a very nice Nikon with 50x Zoom lense that he brings with him when he knows he's going to need it (he has a special backpack for the camera and lenses that he usually takes into the digital world, he also can fit in some food and drinks and small objects if necessary).

DIGIMON PARTNER

Personality:
Chelysmon is MUCH more laid-back than Tate, but just as smart. They call themselves Frenamies (friend-Enemies) because they can be getting along one minute and then completely hate each other the next. They are both stubborn, and try to one-up each other as much as possible.
They love each other at the heart though, like brothers.

Baby form:
Frothy Spit: A foamy water attack that does nothing but gross you out.

*SNAPPYMON (green)
In-Training form:
Bubble Blow: A jet stream of bubbles with an added 'Kick" to them

*CHELYSMON
Rookie form:
Shell Shocker: Golden circlular blades come from behind his back, they provide a powerful punch at long-distance
Turtle Claw: A direct-contact attack, Chelysmon uses his claws to deliver the punch.
Turtle Gurgle: Chelysmon spews a powerful stream of water out of his mouth.

CHELYDRIMON
Champion form:
Turtle Geyser: He Spouts boiling hot water from his mouth, A Long range attack.
Shell Smasher: He retreats into his shell and begins to rapidly spin, a direct-contact attack.
Sticky Tongue: He uses his sticky tongue to attack his enemies.
