Description
A semi original weapon I made for my imperial world.

The Zaitsev Mk II Anti-material Rifle belongs to the Astra Militarum regiments of Kray Mira and it's Planetary Defense Force.
It is a powerful ballistic anti-material sniper rifle designed for Grenadiers and high-level PDF units, to serve as an extreme long-range weapon for high-risk operations, which must combine high damage output with accuracy and versatility.
This pattern uses solid slug ammunition but, like other Auto Weapons, is restricted by its use of heavier ammunition. The advantage the Sniper Auto Weapon has over its photon-based counterpart is that fewer enemies will recognise the report of the rifle, as opposed to the Long-Las' distinctive ruby beam. Since it was designed to serve as a sniper weapon it lacks the capability for automatic fire, allowing it to shoot only a single bolt with each pull of the trigger. However, the loss of this capability is made up for by the weapon's greater range, increased accuracy and enhanced reliability in adverse environmental conditions.
When dealing with heavily-armoured infantry it can fire more powerful armour-piercing rounds that uses a heavier main charge with its uranium core replaced by a solid wolframium core; upon impact, the outer casing peels away and the high-velocity wolframium needle accelerates into the victim, where the larger detonator propels shards of super-hardened metal further into the wound.
This pattern doesn't have iron sights, but standard rail for scopes (and other attachments) is mounted along the top of the weapon, and a bipod can be attached to it for stable firing from the prone position. Like any other Auto Weapon, the Zaitsev uses caseless ammo with projectiles made of metal, plastic and/or ceramics, and can be fed via double or quad stack magazines. Additionally, it can fire a large variety of ammunition types, such as incendiary rounds, explosive micro-shrapnel, bolt rounds, ripper darts, solid slugs and stun shells.

As with my previous post, it's kinda inspired on the Soviet Union and modern day Russia, though this one in particular is based on the chinese AMR-2 rifle. Hope you like it!
