Jealous of Fenix's apparent beginners luck, some of the other workers decided to test "the new kid". Knowing how much she despised people, they confronted her and demanded she create something humanoid. She was given a live human female, two weeks and zero restraint.

The woman, named Elkorae, was just as broken as any other test subject, and wanted nothing more than to die. Fenix was not pleased with the idea of working on a live human, but knew killing her or sending her away would have worse consequences. Unknown to anyone else, she made an offer the victim couldnt refuse, and went to work.

Fenix put the girl to sleep and grafted a live livine cutting directly in to the subject. With a generous dose of growth accelerating hormones and all the UV light and water it could ever need, the plant began growing in, and mutating, the woman. Unknown to anyone but Fenix, the woman did temporarily get her wish; she died of trauma when the plant began tampering with her vital organs. She was, at least in body, quickly revived by the plant, with remaining organs still apparently functional.

The woman became completely integrated into the plant, but seems to have a certain amount of control over the many large vines growing from her. Fenix suspects she might be able to wander around if she wasnt so firmly rooted to the ground and had any desire to leave in the first place.

Eklorae appears to have the upper body of a woman and the lower body of a tangled mass of livine. Though she still has some hair, it will eventually stop being produced and fall out or be replaced by plant matter. Around her mouth have sprouted small, teeth like projections similar to those around the flytraps. Like those of the flytraps, they are thin and flexible, made more for keeping food in place than biting or chewing. Her skin cells were filled with chlorophyll, giving her skin a greenish hue. Her two first and two last fingers fused and grew into long, scythe like spikes with minimal range of motion. Along with the writhing vines, she has all the bells and whistles of the regular livine.

When the challengers came to check up on Fenix's progress, instead of finding her with some failed experiment on her hands as theyd hoped, they found a large, humanoid plant lounging happily in an even larger box under ample UV lights in the back of Fenix's space. The woman, if it could still be called that, reacted violently to the other workers when they tried to approach, lashing at them with bony fingers and toxin filled vines. She made a soft hissing sound, like wind through trees, and refused to be calmed by anyone but Fenix, who is apparently just as immune to Eklorae as she is to the other livines.

Despite what most people assume must have been a horrible transformation process, Eklorae seems quite fond of Fenix. Whether this is because Fenix cares for her or because of some other emotional bond is still unknown.

Upon hearing this news, efforts to obtain samples surged again, many scientists offering pollen from their cuttings in the hopes of getting a seed from Eklorae, but Fenix again refused, insisting that Eklorae is sterile.

Many researchers have come begging for samples, cuttings, anything, but Fenix does everything in her power to keep them at bay. Fenix has no idea if the plant has any recollection of being human, or of the promise made, but Fenix has no intention of letting it go.
