Description Wheee!

My two fave characters from the Wind Waker, Komali and Medli! I've wanted to draw these two for a long time, but decided to hold off until I could draw better.
Compared to Valoo, [link] there's a lot of improvement in some areas. Like the clouds, and the water, for instance.
The harp was a little annoying to get right, but I think it looks pretty good right now.
Overall, I'm really happy with the pic.

Wow! This is really a great picture! These two are probably a few of my favorite characters from Wind Waker. Your picture really looks like it came out of the game. The way you did the water and sky look so cool too. And the rocks of course. What did you do to get that texture on them? Awesome job with the detail on Medli's harp too. I probably would have done a crummy job if I had to draw it. |D

Oh wow! Thanks heaps for the awesome comment! I totally love WW (more than TP at any rate), so I'm glad this looks like it's from the game too.
The texture was the easy part actually. I just made a new layer, and put in a parchment texture and then set that to multiply. It covered the whole thing like a charm. XD

It's my pleasure! Yeah I like WW better than TP too. I think WW has the best music anyway, but I think my favorites are OoT and MM. I like the story line for both of those, plus I have so many memories that go with them I can't help but love them.

Aw that's cool! On some of my pictures I just made a brush out of a texture and then use that. But I think your way is probably better...cooler too. I'll have to try it sometime. :D

Thanks! And yes, Komali's just sooooooo cute!! It is good though, how you get to control Medli at one point. I found that temple amazingly fun, and it all solved and over just a little too soon. T_T

ah tell me about it XD i musta spent about 4 hours just flying about just for the hell of it lol controling her was wicked but yea that dungeon was a lil' too easy...so was the boss at the end actually...but the redeads scared the crap outta me XD
