Description
Same as before, but with a more measured attempt to get a feel for the hairstyle. I'm not sure yet if I like it enough to replace her current one. Honestly it looks fantastic at the 3/4 angle with her exposed eye facing, but the other perspectives look a little flat to me... Might need more tweaking.And ignore the funky little pose there. I didn't bother with any construction lines for the body and just sketched it out. It's G-rated tho, I didn't add any "bits" to it. Oh, and ignore her lack of eyes. I was having trouble getting them down last night, so I just opted to draw everything else and leave them out for now...

Actually it would take more of a stylist then a biologist, after all you want to match the hair to the shape of the face and... hell, now I'm sounding even wierder then I usually do. <.< >.>

Hmm, perhaps a bit too 'form fitting' to the skull? On the other hand that's kind of a neat effect....

Well I partially based it off of my own RL hair. I have very flat hair... no real body to speak of.

I like it. I see what you're talking about it looking best at 3/4 angle; maybe if the hair were shorter (just past chin length, perhaps?)

I tried to make it a bit longer because when I make it only chin length, I get told it makes her look too young. Tho I might want to "wedge" it a bit, where it's higher in the back then in the front....

That might work a little better. Personally, I like her hair chin-length (it does, indeed, make her look younger, though), and I think making it shoulder-length makes it look incredibly odd (to me, at least).

Maybe chin length in the back and arched down in the front to collarbone length would be proper in this case. Giving it that wedge back look....

And it's closer to where I am with Tasha's current hair. Most all of this is to ditch the "flip" in her hair (Wouldja believe Zym got me started on that line of thought? She drew Tasha with a minimized flip, and it struck me how out of place it was, especially with you two having slightly more realistic hair on your Tashas...)

I like the stylization of your Tasha's hair, personally. I can see what Zym was doing, and I like that, too... so, essentially, I'm torn! **chuckles** I think, though, that you're on the right track with the two-length thing (shorter in back than in front).

I think the side and front views don't quite match up in terms of length.
Is her ear too far back?
Not sure the hair would curve in in the back like that.

The ear should be in the right place, but that's something Suichi hit me on, so I'm trying to work on it.
As for the hair, yeah. So far it seems to flesh out best at a slight down 3/4 angle. The rest I'm having trouble making synch up....
