"Traitor!" Chaplain Nicolus breathed out, his blood misting out of his mouth as the ancient Astartes tried to free himself off a massive armature piercing his chest - the piece of metal lodged in his body when the ship's engine imploded, following the rip of the Gellar Field. "You shall burn, in His Holy Light for..."Decimus dumbly stood over Nicolus, observing. To the Chaplain, his face, washed by fire, suddenly seemed utterly alien, and a nauseating thought passed the wounded marine's mind as to why he hadn't seen it all earlier - this snarl-like smile, and the lack of... yes, lack of any sort of light behind the Assualt Marine's eyes. They just reflected it, metallic and cold. He should've known. But he didn't, even after all the sermons, the rituals, the traitor kept himself well-covered.
Nicolus groand. Decimus's face suddenly creased with delight.
"No, chaplain. I betrayed nothing".
He cocked his head to the sight, leveling the bolter. This was real power. He didn't care if the price would be to high, he didn't care what this power was - he just knew it was different, and it resonated in him. Nothing ever did, since he wss taken from Scintilla, his home, none of prayers or duties, or falsely applied obedience. This was different - a power of purpose. And he just peaked into what his, Decimus's purpose truely was.
"Nothing". Decimus rolled off his tongue, savoring it.
"Masters don't betray slaves. Masters relieve them of their duty".
The Assault Marine chuckled quietly, and fired.

Torturer just heresying around. Fuck, damn, I'm fucking proud of myself. Fucking shiznits, I'm awesome, I finally found a way to make my shit look like Codex/TCG art with minimum effort.

Here I just wanted to draw something a bit different, an outwardly loyal Astartes, no mutations or nothing, but at the same time, show that he's "evil", not just ragey and hateful like normal loyalists, but malicious and screwed character no matter the armor.
Think I pulled it off. The symbol is the symbol for EMPEROR'S WOLVES, NOT Luna Wolves, and YES, I was inspired by "Witcher" for it, so dumbfucks who don't read artist comments would get blocked for fucking stupidity ehehe.

Well done! You'd be a decent script or book writer. I like this style of yours, the gore is fine with me, but I feel like it just looks the same over and over and over....anyway, this is good for a change! You can go back to the gore now, I'm missing it :l

I'd say this is one of your best works, for the reasons you've said; your evil works tend to be incredibly unsubtle, so it's interesting to see you doing some subtle nasty evil. I'd say that something like this - when well painted - has more impact than more in-your-face style images. On which note, I see your technique in this looks more refined and slick. It looks excellent, keep it up.

Only one thing that bothers me - the jet pack looks a bit out of perspective. It is not aligned with the marine's shoulders. Great stuff nonetheless

The pauldron is my favourite part on this. It's pretty great. Otherwise, some parts seem dimensionally unusual and skewed. Particularly the collar of the armour. I'd like to see more art of Torturer's Khornate days.

in the tabletop they removed bolter's from assault marines, around 4th edition .they can still take one or two special weapon's. flamer or plasma pistol but only, one marine for every five marine's in the squad may take one weapon. an your only allowed a max of ten assault marine's.

What a lot of people fail to understand properly is that Chaos in opposition to the Imperium is largely about freedom, and you did a great job of showing that.

TCG art maybe, but Codex...no, not really. Your art is smooth, shiny, it lacks the roughness of GW artists, even in sketches. You haven't yet mastered how to pull off the general depicted ugliness - when one looks at your pieces, he can see the sickfuckery of the 40k world, but they don't radiate with grimdarkness.

You can do it one of two ways:
1) copy and paste it from your Windows Word document or whatever you use. This does limit you a bit in terms of size of the document on dA.
or 2) transfer the file into a PDF document and upload it to dA. This might be the better option since I've seen many people put up PDF documents, regardless of the size.
