I didnt do much with the background, because the figures are heavily detailed and shaded, and I was afrraid to make the picture too busy, same goes to torturers legs, cuz they'd be in spaces between the daemonnets.

A well done job on Torturer's face, the detail is remarkable. Would love to see this in full color.

The detail in this piece is superb. His smirk, as always, is reminiscent of a predatory smile, much like a wolf's or an ape's once they feel threatened or when they're about to attack. The veins and black carapace sockets around his body are amazingly disturbing, the ones one his abdominals action reminded me of... no offense, a man's version of a six-breasted daemonnette at first glance, which in my opinion is very understandable with him being a champion of Slaanesh and all.
Can't really say much about the daemonnettes, though, aside from their variety and uniqueness while still adhering to Warhammer 40k lore (or should I rather say, exploring the unexplored areas that Games Workshop had left for us to fill in?)
Also, is that eye on his chest a mutation or a tattoo?
Again, awesome piece. Really conveys what Torturer is, in my eyes, an ever defiant traitor to the imperium. Which is just fine by me.

The only thing I don't like is the plain background; the white wall doesn't improve, in my opinion, the cruelty and the twistedness of the subjects; a black or pink wall would be more effective; more, the daemonettes looks more reasonable than him, and this is cute; the central position of the main character with the dark messiah pose is awesome and effective, even empowered by the fake sensation of weakness given by Torturer's nudity(one Winged Angel?).
Besides, about the ispirations....Evil has never been so androginous....and ego-centered; but Chaos is fueled by ego, isn't it?

What Seems off to me:
I thought Space marines were supposed to have smaller heads proportioned to they're bodies than normal humans do, but I suppose that could be explained by all of Torturer's cranial and jaw augmetics. Also his torso looks to be a tad on the slim side to me.
What I like:
I love what you've done with the Daemonettes and the variation between them, you've portrayed them such that their twisted sexuality and utter wrongness/creepiness comes through excellently in the piece.
Torturer himself makes a great focal point and his relaxed almost bored expression offset by his grinning jaws and his outstretched arms as if to say "And all this could be yours, for the paltry price of your soul..."

Yes. But point is here, that when I came up with Torturer, he was made as a self-insert character. And since I'm heavily on the skinny/scrawny side, I thought - hm, making a character that is like uber-buff would be silly. So I thought about it and was like: hey, but he's a Raptor. Supposedly, in the Codex, it was hinted that they mutated in a manner that allowed them to fly better and longer using their warped jumppacks that loyalist Assault Marines. And usually, the less a mass of something is, the better this something is propelled through the air - birds even have hollow bones for that to happen. So I decided that Torturer sort of "withered" as a Raptor compared to regular Astarted, that his speciality made him lean for better well, "raptoring")
Yeah, the daemonnets were the funnest part here, wanted to make them sort of traditional in the lore, but still with a twist.

It's odd seeing the more mortal side of the big guy for a change. Strip away the armour and there's still something remarkably human under there, especially compared to those around him here. A man among daemons.
As far as the skill goes it really is something to behold. There is a silent motion behind the lines that speaks of more than just what you see here. Torture is becoming richer as a character all the time and is a constant inspiration as to what can be achieved if you put the effort in.
The perfection of Slaanesh speaks for itself.
