This is my second entry for the Anima contest. A creature called the Scroll Naga.

They say the scroll Naga came into being long ago when the rage and magic of a great sorceress was sent out into the world upon her gruesome execution. This energy lingered and tormented anyone exposed to it. It is said that a young Harvest Magi was hired by a small village that had been the recent haunting ground for this evil entity.
To lock this wicked energy away he transferred the rouge power into an old hut filled with dusty old scrolls and parchment. With the spirit bound to the scrolls he sealed the hut and locked the wayward being inside.
It is believed, however, that the power only grew stronger with time and the imprisonment only fueled the rage of the sorceress's soul. With a swirling rage the scrolls began to twist and wind themselves together forming a woman, at least from the waist up. Breaking free form the hut and bound by the magi's arcane magic the rage and power now lives on through the scrolls in the form of a deadly beast now known as the scroll Naga.

The scroll Naga is equiped with deadly sharp claws and hidden fangs in her mouth she can bend and manipulate her body to stretch, flatten, float on a breeze or even completely unwind and reform much like gauze or paper. The only way to kill her is to destroy the arcane script that runs the length of her body this is what gives her form and ultimately all that is keeping her together. But that's if you can get that close
