At least Oren and the others seem inclined to keep an eye on Hemlock, anyway.
I too am guessing that Hemlock lost her babies and mate to predators, especially since this page has little ones in it, which could foreshadow a flashback of Hemlock's, reminiscing about her kits. That'd be a hard thing to recover from. Oh dear, and now Rask is looking at the little ones... will Hemlock assume he's thinking about eating them? ...Oh what am I saying, of *course* she will!

Nice that there's no cliche characteristics to denote what gender each character is (i.e. girly eyelashes and such). I like to keep guessing until it's more or less revealed.

What if, this comic series and Zootopia exist in the same universe, and this comic takes place in a time where the animals have begun to become less savage, but still very close to their primitive nature (as can be seen from the wolves)
