Dedicated to some very fine friends and
for being especially very recently supportive of The Shelter Project in a variety of ways.

This is Meero, another black cat who is friends with Plum HERE: [link] , both still in need of adoption at The South Coast Humane Society .
Meero, hasn't been in the newspaper for a while, but I have recently replaced his photos on petfinder.com with TWO photos,
and this is what his caption says at petfinder.com:
Meero is handsome boy. He is shy when you first meet him but he warms up quickly. We rescued him and 20 others from a hoarder in Grants Pass. He was very well loved but needed proper care. Now he is awaiting a new forever home. He lived with 41 other cats and 4 dogs, so he would do well in a home with other animals.
EDIT: ADOPTED!

Indeed, Meero is super sweet, and loved to be in front of my camera, and would even play with toys. He will be great in his new home!

Additionally, as I mentioned with his friend Plum, The Humane Society here, is hosting a SPECIAL PROGRAM called: "MY SHADOW AND ME" Jan. through April. 2012, that seeks to educate the public about black cats and therefore facilitate more black cat adoptions.
