I know, it feels a bit early,
but actually I am very late to get these uploaded, considering I took the new photos for The Shelter Project- Holiday Themed Greeting Cards: [link]
in August, in order to give me more time THIS year, compared to last year. But since I didn't upload them sooner, I am behind just like last year!

This is directly related to The Shelter Project: [link]

which aims to use the photos I take of cats and dogs, all rescues or rescued, or in some cases, still in need of being adopted,

and selling them as HOLIDAY GREETING CARDS: [link] ,
to raise funds that are needed for cats and dogs who are waiting for adoption,
specifically for:
The South Coast Humane Society , where I now volunteer, since Summer of 2011.

So, this is Rocket, a Pit Mix. He was at The South Coast Humane Society for such a very very long time, almost a year,
that he sort of became the MASCOT for the dogs.

While that sounds cute, when a humane society animal is viewed by the public as a MASCOT, they have even LESS of a chance of being adopted!

But at the end of August, he was finally adopted!

However, here he is in photo image, hoping to help all the other animals who are STILL in need!
