This is really cool. I love the building in the background, and that sword looks awesome.

Very nice. So is the red strap a belt thats wrapped around the blade? If so what is the significance of the red belt not being worn but wrapped around the blade instead?
I like the light tones. Very well drawn and painted.

Thanks. No immediate significance other than a design idea. I mean, red on a blade always means "something" but I think in this case, it's not about killing or blood. Perhaps about life for a change? as far as helping to carry that huge blade, it's completely impractical ...but it looks neat, and that's what I like about it.

Great piece!
How is it to work with WOTC? Do they give you good deadlines? Are they very strict with the style? Do they put a lot of corrections?

It's great to work with WOTC. I like it a lot. They give good deadlines, they pay well and are relatively strict with the style, but not too much (unlike WOW, who are VERY strict). I usually don't have that many corrections unless I screw up, but it's usually my fault for forgetting something, or getting the wrong color or style. It gets fixed. Both WOTC and Blizzards are good clients, but very different in style, obviously. I think there's more freedom in Magic, though, and as such, you tend to have better results overall, because artists can let their imagination go further. But that's just my opinion.

Thanks for your answer!
Do you know if they work with foreigh freelancers? I'm from spain, but I would like to send some material to them, and see what happens.

I love it. Do you still own the rights to it or does WOTC?
