The complexity of this piece is stunning, and the slight variations in angle throughout the image really helped make the desperation and fear in the Knights come through. Not intentional, I think, but very effective none the less.

great work. i like it that you actually know about Phillip IV of france and his trap for the Templars. i just gave a speech on the fall of the Templar Knights at the Bolder University Of Colorado. i really commemorate you for doing your homework and such a great picture

I'm so happy to see an artist depict this event in history. Thank you! I'm no expert on the subject but the Templars have always fascinated me. Not only is this a great work of art but it's a wonderful teaching tool as well. At least people will know how "Friday the 13th" came about. Hopefully that will influence others to dig deeper into this society.

Oh yes the templars which reminds me i still need to finish umberto ecko,s focaults pendulum book which is also about the templars and the treasures.
