I love the soft tones of this, it really works well with the concept... Kind of makes me think how the model could either have given up waiting and closed the door to whoever she was waiting for, or had heard from then and was content to move on again...

Firstly - tis a very nice dress.
Second, I like how open you've made this, erm... story wise. The scene isn't entirely spelled out for us, leaving us to fill in the blanks. Seems to me I could take this one of two ways... either she's waiting on a call from her adored love and never gets it, leaving the phone off the hook, abandoning hope... or he did call, and she's taken it off the hook to avoid interruptions.

it is more of.. waiting for a call she never gets and giving up. for sure.
except i haven't really given up. perhaps given up on expecting it but.. not given up in the harsher term of things.

It's good that you haven't given up entirely but aren't allowing yourself to obsess over it, if I understood right.
I think you even communicated that in the color of the picture. A sad topic but brighter colors still shows that there isn't an abandon to depression.

I think i missed the friday night rush. no comments. and i had more interesting photos up too. took them to wait until a busier night. which is prolly stupid, but it annoys me when things go uncommented.

Augh I hate that. What I end up doing is going into the forums and to the thumbshare area, and just find a bunch of topics to put up thumbs of my work. It usually will get some feedback going.
