Description Another marker piece I did following my lineart elsewhere in this gallery. The color is *mostly* adjusted to the real colors, but still it ain't perfect. kurama's hair ended up losing a lot of detail especially. Ah well.

Prismacolor markers on Copic marker paper.

P.S. I still love Hiei's skinny ankles and attitude problem.

Wow, that's in marker? Amazing! The shading and the transition from light to dark coloring is exceptional. And Kurama's rose is beyond words. ;D

Great job By the way are those Prismacolor markers good? I'm just wondering because I almost came close to buying them.

They're pretty good. Not that I've tried any *other* markers, so I have no basis for comparison. They take getting used to, and the paper you use is really important - more important than the marker itself, I have an inkling. I can get a nice blend close to Kazuya Minekura's (Saiyuki) stuff with Copic marker paper, but Bienfang Graphics 360 gives a more traditional marker look. And bristol and regular paper are good for cel-shading type work, but not for blending, which is what I prefer to do.

Pretty colors! KuramaxHiei is fun. *nodnod* I'm ashamed of myself now, haven't done much YuYu slashing lately. *hangs head in shame*
