Up next in my I Desperately Need To Produce Prints for A-Kon series, we have the boobalicious Orihime from Bleach. Again with the OpenCanvas trial version, this time mostly using the watercolor brush.ETA: I'm changing this and the other images I'm doing for A-Kon to 'Critique Discouraged" because I do not have the time to re-draw or fix them before the con.

Nice coloring, especially on her hair

That's because when people point out things wrong with images that I cannot or do not have time to fix, it frustrates the hell out of me.

I might be mistaken about which character this is...I've only seen about a dozen episodes of Bleach, but I thought her hair was a different color. Neh?

It's manga version Orihime, whose hair is a bit more brown than orange and showed slightly differently, but people keep expecting her to be the anime version, so I color-shifted the hair layer a bit more towards orange in the original file. *sigh* It's hard being a manga snob.

That's cool. I haven't read the manga, so the anime was all I had to go on. I still thought it looked great

how could you do the coloring with pianter cause i used to have it and i really was lost

Heh - I did this in the trial version of OpenCanvas instead of Painter. I still haven't figured out how to get that sort of transparent coloring in Painter. This is using the watercolor tool in OC to paint the skin, then making a new layer on top of that and lightly brushign it with an airbrush to put the red on.

what i mean its fine , really its the color isnt what im use to seeing the cute Orihime , but non the less she is very well

I haven't seen the anime - just the manga, and it's a bit more brown than orange in the manga. But since people keep telling me here and on LJ that her hair is ORANGE, DAMMIT, I figured that people want to see the anime color and shifted that layer to a more orange in the original file.
