Description
My VERY-long-in-the-making kiriban picture for the REMARKABLY patient . Seriously, I told her I'd do her character Barret up in steampunky monster-hunting gear back in OCTOBER. I'm SO sorry for the wait... I guess I'm just easily distracted. But finally, you have it, and thank you SO much for putting up with my slowness.
Barret, I get the sense, is less of an adventuring type than a scholarly one, but Kirby suggested he'd look awfully good in one of these old-fashionedy monster-hunting-trophy-type shots, and when she said he'd fit in well in the Astral Arcana universe I knew I wanted to stick a scavver in there (they're one of the many creatures that live in the aetherial field) but I've been so reluctant to draw that scavver head I put it off for WAY too long.
So, at long last, here we are. Thanks, =Professor-Kirby , for your patience; thanks to ALL of you for the what-was-then-15000-hits which then became many more.

LOL! Yeah, it looked even more like it was smiling in the rough blue-line sketch I did before the pencil drawing. It was really silly-looking, so consider that this is "serious"-ed up!

Well, usually I make my monsters look like they are smiling as well. Mostly when they are facing forward though. Yeah, I like tall red-heads but, I'm more in it for darker skin and black hair! O__O

Like I said last night; you need to start designing footwear. I absolutely love his boots/spats combo, and you draw shoes so absolutely perfectly D: His entire outfit it awesome, though, as is the rifle and that HEAD ahaha I love it, and how nonchalant he is while holding it up, all YES, I AM AWESOME. Can I go and read some more?
