Description Oh my. Ohhh my. *dusts off gallery and self* This is the first THING I've submitted here in MONTHS and months. I've never left my dA gallery alone this long oh noooo I'm sorry ;_; I feel I've been neglecting it terribly, but the fact is I just haven't had a lot of energy for being social, which is TERRIBLE! (Sorry again -__-) And it also doesn't help that I haven't felt like almost anything I've been doing is good or finished enough to put up here; most of my sketchy nonsense is happening on Tumblr these days.

But I did a little series of ATC trades lately, and I did actually feel that these were worth sharing in a big chunk, because I was really fairly pleased with how they came out! Each card is a traditional-media original measuring 3.5"x2.5" (the size of a baseball card). Copic markers, micron pens, white gel pen. The cards themselves are now in the care of all their recipients. :3

These are ALL stunning and amazing. The level of detail in them is just exceptional. I sat and stared at mine for a looong time when I got the original. It's nice to see them all together like this, because they're all pretty different in characters and colour, but still look very unified.

Meja is just gorgeous here! She looks so focused and the environment is so beautiful. I really like how she's using her skirts to collect those herbs. Thank you for this magnificent piece of artwork!

AFBXLFSKJV NO PROBLEM, you can see I'm not exactly speedy in responding to ANYTHING these days. XDD Thank you so much, I'm hoping to post more here soon because it's not like I haven't been doing ANYTHING this whole time, I might as well show it off like... somewhere, right?

And let me just tell you, drawing the golden dude there really made me want to do Pirossa again, but I've been having a terrible drawing block as far as he's concerned. T__T PERHAPS SOON.

These rock so hard, thank you for all the effort you put in! I love smug-looking Caltha too, but then I'm biased. All of them have so much detail and such a broad palette. You are definitely going to be an inspiration the next time I do a trade!

Abuuuu thank you!! <333 I LOVED doing all of them, seriously, it made me want to do nothing but ATCs forever. Caltha actually turned out to be one of my favorites, I was really pleased with his expression and the wee portraits in the background I'm so glad you were happy with him, and that you like all the cards in a more general sense. :3 Thanks again!

AVVVV thank youuu, late reply I know, but YUSSS I love me some markers, and I totally have you to thank for making me finally bite the bullet and use them. XD BEST TRADITIONAL MEDIA EVER, I don't know if I can go back to paint after these.

Ahhhh yay, thank you! They were SO much fun to do. I feel like maybe I should "schedule" ATCs into my usual art repertoire, it's such a good way to practice backgrounds without it being really threatening. XD

These cards are beautiful, I simply love your sense of color and how you work with traditional medias!

Ahhhh thank you <333 I'm glad I've been able to do them too! They're not the only finished stuff I've done lately but they're my favorites nevertheless.

Also AAHHH YESSSS drawing this guy actually made me nostalgic for Pirossa, believe it or not I had a choice of characters to do and when I saw him I was like YOU REMIND ME OF PIROSSA I AM ABSOLUTELY DRAWING YOU

Haha, omg, thank you!! I'm so glad you're happy, it's good to be back, sorta-kinda! Strangely enough, I've been considering changing my avi... and yet... I have a lot of nostalgia attached to this one! The new possibility is still an avvie-me, albeit a little less OVERTLY enthusiastic. But again... I hate the idea of suddenly changing it and all of a sudden NOBODY KNOWS WHO I AM ANYMORE. The new thing with people being able to change their usernames? On the one hand, I think it's a great idea... but on the other, sometimes I'm just like WHO IS THIS PERSON COMING UP IN MY WATCHBOX. Either way, it's good to talk to you again too! I've missed habitual commenters. Tumblr, as nice as it is for posting quick-n-dirty sketches, tends to miss so much of the social aspect of what I like about dA. :3

AFFFFF oh my goodness I'm SO sorry it took me so long to respond to this, but lately I've been at a total loss as to how to respond to really amazing compliments. I love to read them, and I love to get them, but then I just kind of sit on them for ages (hoarding? Who knows!) and then I'm like I SHOULD REALLY THANK THIS PERSON FOR MAKING ME SO HAPPY In any event, thank you so much. WELL I've had a couple kicking around since like... two summers ago? But I didn't start actually using them in earnest until this last January and I'm COMPLETELY IN LOVE. Seriously, they're SO AMAZING, it's like using a super concentrated watercolor with more control and none of the mess! The colors just bleed into each other like BUTTAH. As such, I've become a shameless shill for Copics. It's dreadful.

Also I MISS YOU alkjdsf do you have a Tumblr perchance? Because I miss Tracy art in my life

I do stop by your tumbler every blue moon. Alot of people put their sketches up there, sadly I don't sketch so it would be hard for me to get tied into it BUT I do take peeks!

But I really do appreciate it, always! <3 I'm so glad you like these, they were a ton of fun to do. As far as Tumblr goes, I only ended up getting one just to follow a couple of people who don't update dA much but had migrated over there, and I was like WELL I HAVE ONE NOW SO I MIGHT AS WELL USE IT XD A lot of people seem to use it for finished work as well as sketches, it tends to be really flexible.

Eee, thank you! It's hard for me to choose which ones ended up being my favorites, but I was very fond of the scenery in the last one and the colors and plants in the third. I think the lines on Caltha did turn out the best; plus, I'm a sucker for a smug-looking attractive man. I'm glad you like them!
