Description I'm very very busy in this period, torn apart between work and commissions... I hope that, 'cause is ALMOST summer, people get sick a little less (and I'll work a little less). Anyway, I MUST partecipate to Contest "Draw my character". I choose Ginevra! Hope you (and she) like her! Now...I come back to commissions...Home is behind, the world ahead, and there are many paths to tread...

Beautiful!Β  I love how rich her gown looks, almost like thick velvet, and I think the way you draw and paint roses is wonderful she looks very pleased sitting up on that wall

Thank you!!!Well, Ginevra never smiles, but when I drew her,at first, she was too serious, so I decide to do an "enigmatic" smile! Β

This is really beautiful!!! I really enjoy Nike's character and you have done her a gorgeous tribute!! I love the details you put into the dress, and the background, especially those lovely flowers! Your style is so perfectly suited for medieval/Renaissance/fantasy themes, a bit like the Pre-raphaelites did. But the reference "A mon seul dΓ©sir", doesn't it come from something known in Art History? It sounds familiar... (I speak French fluently as well as English).

Yes, they are beautiful and very well maintained. They are at the Medieval Museum in Paris, close to the Sorbonne and Pantheon. All six of the Dame Γ  la Licorne tapisseries have been lovingly restored, they are hung up in a room with the dimmest lighting possible so you can really appreciate the detail and colours of the tapestry work. Β
I could have gone to a pre-Raphaelite expo in London, but didn't, stupid me!!!!! D:Β

I've never been in Paris, but I've always wanted to go! I didn't know that there were a Medieval Museum, obviously when you think about Paris you think about Louvre, I'm happy to discover new places!!!Β
Well, don't worry, in London you can find a great collections of Pre-Raphaelites works at the Tate Gallery and you can go and see them in every moment! ^ ^ Yesterday I went to Turin 'cause there were 70 pieces of the Tate's collections. Four hours of train, but it was worth it!!!

Her gown is gorgeous! And that shade is green is lovely and it compliments her hair tone too! The embroidery under her bust is wonderful and I love the patterns on the curtains behind her- you always put such wonderful detail into you put into your pieces- the roses are a beautiful and a nice touch!
