Thank you very much! It had been months since I had last done anything of the kind, so this was immensely satisfying. I'm glad you like it .

Happy New Year!

Thank you!

-I understand the sentiment, but I assure you I would be the wrong person for portraits. I'm no good at anything except imaginary people - I couldn't draw a likeness to save my life...

Beautiful, although I would not want to drink anything that she offered to me!  Happy Holidays to you!

It always amuses me when I am reminded that extensive as Mr GRR Martins cast-list may be, the Arthurian Mythos not only challenges him in terms of population but might actually having him beat when one factors in more obscure characters.

May I please ask who the Lady Kundry is precisely?

(Also, please allow me to wish you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a Happy New Year when it arrives).

Merry Christmas, Mr Libra!

In my story, Kundry is the name of the lady who in Chrétien's Graal is called l'Orgueilleuse de Logres - Orgeluse in Wolfram von Eschenbach. "Orgueilleuse/Orgeluse" is an epithet and not a name, so I needed to give her a name of my own. Kundry is the name of the character in Wagner's Parsifal, where she is an amalgamation of Orgeluse and the weird-looking Grail messenger Cundrie. I have kept both characters and they are both called Kundry, for reasons that you will hopefully found out ... one day .

It's true, Arthurian legend has a massive amount of characters. The difference with Ice and Fire is that the Arthurian characters were invented by many different people, whereas GRRM came up with his cast on his own. And I admit that I find his lot easier to keep track of . At least most of them have only one name...

To be fair when it comes to deluging the casual reader with a bewilderment of many names for the same character Professor Tolkien remains the reigning champion - Estel, Strider, Longshanks, Thorongil, Elesser Telcontr AND Aragorn, Son of Arathorn are just a few of the names born by Aragorn II alone … lets not even get STARTED on Turin Turambar and his multiple attempts to hide out under a new identity!
