Letβs just call this some kind of alternate universe scenario where Jedi and Sith do go to fancy little wine bars to hang out together.
A piece for Stormraven24 , who'd asked for the prompt of Asajj Ventress + date night threads (based on this fun character wardrobe meme here ).Β Also made for the Asajj/Obi-Wan pairing blog here .
As I rarely do pairing art unless it's a gift, I'm actually surprisingly satisfied with how this turned out! I might even try more of this colouring style?

Just lovely! She's like "I'll eat you alive" and he's....just like the man of my dreams...where's that bar?He looks hot as usual but this casual style fits perfect! Jedi robes are a little over dressing. Here he's relaxed,maybe is the wine.Love this couple.For sure they had more duels...not involving light sabers and in other contexts, you can feel the chemistry there. Beautiful work!Β

An illegitimate child of Obi-wan and Ventress would have to be ten times more interesting than a decrepit Boba Fett or any Skywalker and/or Solo brats.Β A DVD extra of Obi-wan and Ventress's only date night might be nice too (3 star cruisers wrecked, 12 bounty hunters missing body parts, & an inexplicable force-storm during the only private hour that they had the whole night).

Somehow this doesn't surprise me. In TCW season 4, she could have easily killed him but apart from that screwing up the timeline (like Disney has) she spared him and fought alongside him

Haha, I don't ship much and most pairings wouldn't surprise me anymore, regardless of the storyline: all's fair in love and fandom I suppose. 
I have always felt sympathy for SW characters who you know won't succeed in their goals because of the known story's future (example: what were the chances of Maul or Asajj killing Obi-Wan). In a way though, it makes it even more interesting to me to see how they change or move forward as characters than what they achieved in the end.
