A few years back, for my Shakespeare class, we had a project: film any of the Shakespearean plays we studied in class. Well, we chose Cleopatra in a modern setting in Las Vegas no less XD. There was a scene that called for Antony holding an 'autographed photo' of her. So I drew a quick rendition of Cleo. Don't ask.The best part of this film was that in our group we had 4 people: 3 girls and 1 guy. In the play there are multiple male characters and only one female lead... sooo guess who was the lucky one to play Cleo? XD I got to play Antony and had myself a death scene! Woo!
This lineart sucks because I hate using pen and because I didnt' have a lot of time.

So pretty. Interesting setting for a play but I love most adaptations like that. Except Romeo & Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio. Worst Shakespeare adaptation EVER!

I think that was a strange adaptation. I saw it so many times for class and such that it ended up growing on me. I loved the soundtrack anyway

Thanks I'm glad you like it even though the lines are sooo terrible. I am really tempted to do the lineart over so it's cleaner.

Heh, thanks. Its sucky partially because of the pen lineart. I prefer the pencil version but it didn't stand out enough in the film so I needed to go over it w/ pen.
