Description (Based off of the Alternate History Hub's WW2 German victory scenario)

The United States of America
Capital:
 Washington D.C.
Government: Federal Presidential Constitutional Republic
Population: Over 250 Million (Estimate)

After the United States began to butt heads with Japan, Germany begins contemplating on declaring war on the US, but soon Adolf Hitler's advisers convince him that would be a death blow to their campaign across Europe. The US government continues the war in the Pacific as it does in our timeline, except Japan soon suffocates as the US Air Force and Navy cuts off Japan's access to its territories in 1948, and the US establishes air force bases in Korea and American occupied islands, and fire-bombs the Japanese mainland into oblivion, killing 5 million people, or 7% of the population in the bombing. The American Armed Forces force Japan into a surrender after occupying mainland Japan, and the United States Congress passes the Japanese Annexation Act, under pressure from the idea of the growing threat of Germany, the act entails that almost all formerly occupied Japanese territories were now territories and protectorates under the United States of America; this was under the pretence to repair Japan and Japanese territories, which, although was an outcome, was not the whole truth as the American government annexed the former lands of the Empire of Japan. The United States annexed almost all Japanese occupied territories but returned former Chinese territory to the Republic of China.

The single territory that makes up Korea, the 2 territories of Manchuria, and the 4 territories of Japan -- divided between the 4 main islands of the Japanese Archipelago -- are currently classified as organized, incorporated territories, the same as Alaska and Hawaii, while the 4 territories of the Philippine archipelago has been fully admitted as states. The United States, following its annexation of the Empire of Japan, went on to annex Mexico, and several other Latin American nations, and a British territory. The motivation behind this territorial expansion seemed to stem from the US strengthening itself against Nazi Germany, which was becoming obviously a far greater threat to the United States of America.

The United States is far more diverse due to the millions of refugees -- Jews, prisoners of war, whose escape was aided by the various beaten down freedom fighters, supported by the Americans and the British, Slavs, Ethnic Poles, Ukrainians, Belarussians, Serbs, the physically and mentally disabled, Romani, homosexuals, and countless others -- streaming into the United States, accompanied by sympathetic Germans and Italians, and countless citizens of annexed and occupied nations, desiring American liberty -- the kind of freedom that was drowned out in Europe by a wave of tyranny and totalitarianism.

Now, the United States is in a cold war with the Großgermanisches Reich and its global military and economic development hegemony. The United States of America has officially become the leading member of the AN; the Allied Nations. The USA's extensive CIA networks constantly fight in "neutral" countries to prevent the rise of far-right populism and ever hunt for an opportunity to assassinate the aging, paranoid Führer of the Großgermanisches Reich.

As both the United States of America and the Großgermanisches Reich have developed a stockpile of Drohendeschicksal Weapons, an intercontinental war between the Großgermanisches Reich and the United States of America has never broken out.

Wow that scenario. So the USA ignores Germany mostly and will Germany win then in Europe?
I wonder what would happen with the rising communist China, when they keep Mandschuko^^

It's actually based off of what I imagined US to look like in this scenario by Alternate History Hub, if the US were to only be at war with Japan, and didn't bother with nuking them, and instead invaded them traditionally.

I can only imagine the tension that's building in the newly annex territories. Probably going to have a Vietnam War of their own
