Description Through an early, sudden, industrial revolution, the Roman Empire never falls, or separates, but rather expands outward into the world, and in the early 150s (A.E.), the Roman Senate regains control of the empire and reestablishes the Roman Republic, however, ever since, the empire's government has shifted control between the Imperial Monarchy, and the Senate due to opposing political parties and opposing interests. In the late 1800s (A.E.), the Roman Republic's government began, in order to enforce obedience among its multiracial, multi-continental population, teaching atheism as a standard model of the universe in its education centers, and though the republic's demographics have shifted, the republic's national religion is still Roman Christianity, though Roman Christianity only composes 40% of the population. The Republic as of the 2040s (A.E./2010s A.D.) is much like the empire from 2,000 years past. Its culture and architecture, all with different ethnicity, and languages have flourished across the planet. The republic has seen the rise of a language similar to English in the Germanic regions, and French and Spanish in the regions we see them in today, although surely alien to actual speakers of the languages. Culture is much them same, there are still slaves in the republic, but very few, and have far more rights than their ancient predecessors. Women are expected to have a husband, and family, and work in the home, though it is not enforced by any law, it is just expected by the men and the women. The term A.E. is what the Roman Republic uses to measure time, as the republic has no language of how to measure the Earth's lifespan into a date, the republic uses "A.E.", or "After Establishment", which makes the date of the establishment of the Roman Empire 0 A.E./B.E. The Roman Republic in the 2040s (A.E./2010s A.D.) is the most advanced state on the planet, with literal hundreds, and sometimes thousands of years in advance of its rivals. Most clear changes to the modern world is the clear influence of Roman architecture, and the population of the republic still wearing togas and similar clothing, and pants are still in the republic viewed as "uncivilized", though "barbaric" has become a less used term, as the Romans have become far more culturally sensitive to primitive tribes that have been incorporated over the centuries.

Wish this would eventually happend. Alas Rome was ruled by weak rulers and corrupted politicians. If only they had more people like Caesar,Trajan or Justinian this world could be much different (and i believe) better place.

The European map looks eerily similar to what Gaius Julius Caesar would have done if he was not butchered by men's fragile egos. He planned to go and destroy the Parthians to avenge his old triumvirate member, Crassus, and then march around the Black Sea and reaching the Caspian Sea and transverse the Caucasus Mountains and invade and subject the Scythian region under Roman control. Once subjected and pacified, he would have marched across to the Germania region and give them an invasion via their background (or backside ) and conquer them all. Then he would have redone his invasion into Britannia properly and pacify the entire island just as he did Gaul. So much lost... So much 'What ifs' remain all because of man's fragile ego...

GOOD GOD! That's a relief. I saw your wall of text and thought I was going to get into some kind of argument until I read what you actually said. I'm glad you like it, if you do?

Why is it weird?

You read the description? The date on the map is 2015 A.D., or 2042 A.E.

Explain to me why. You still haven't given an explanation. They also have colonies in the Philippines, Greenland, the Americas, and Australia, why is it weird "cuz" the Romans "just soddenly" have JAPAN. (I don't understand why you have to go "JAPAN" as if it gets your point across.) Just tell me why its weird they have colonized Japan within a 3,000 year time span. I want to know why its so weird they have Japan, its just another land mass they've conquered/colonized in the past 3,000 years.
