Description
Here's my work in progress color version of the cover art for Uncanny X-Men 535 which I will also be doing the interior art for - ships in April.Cover features Kitty Pryde, Colossus, Emma Frost, Wolverine, the alien Kruun, and the SWORD base.
Colored in Photoshop CS3 with a Wacom Intuos Graphics Tablet.

Love your artwork!
It's *so* refreshing to see someone who knows how to illustrate ladies who are wearing actual clothes instead of painted-on body socks - with belts that actually sit near the waistline/in the area of the belly button - not to mention such an excellent depiction of a lady who is classically *not* built like a plasticized stripper. Full-figured women are great but not every woman is built the same and, sadly, that is not always reflected in comic art unless it is in the hands of terrific artists such as the Dodsons.

I figured she be out longer, her scene with Emma before blasting off reminded me of when Spock died except Kitty and Emma hated each other.
