The sun felt warm on her back as she stretched across the mat. The distinct baritone news reporter voice coming from the television on the opposite side of the room was the only sound, that and her panting. It wasn't that hot in the sun; the AC had the room at a pleasant temperature. Strangely Thea found herself panting, her tongue actually hanging out over her lip slightly. She had to intentionally stop herself from the odd behaveoir and refocus on her stretching.

While she went through her poses, she found herself tuning in to a news report on an incident happening not far from where she lived. Something about a dog attack? No, something about dogs, so many dogs running, except... those weren't dogs. Thea paused mid pose, reaching her hand up to her face in shock, fixated on the TV even as her free hand began to grow dark hairs on its top.

She listened intently. Exposure to some unknown field of energy. Scientists baffled. People changing. The entire thing sounded absurd, but for some reason THea found herself believing it. Doubly so when she went to wipe sweat from her brow and found that her hand, if it could still be called a hand, was covered in hair thick enough to warrant being referred to as fur. Her eyes went wide as she looked down her dark nose at her hand.. no, paw. As she looked at her paw. It wasn't the only one either, one of her feet also had taken on a distinct paw-like shape, and fur had begun to trail up her back from the crack of her ass, which now bulged in her yoga pants as a small tail formed. Thea shook her head in disbelief, but that just caused her floppy ear, which had not been floppy at all earlier that morning, to flap and wave with the movement of her head.

Thea scrambled to her feet and paws, and grabbed the remote from the nearby coffee table, and turned up the volume, eager to hear the rest of this breaking story...
