Description
I made this originally for my new icon. It came out 10X better then I thought it would! Only one verse comes to mind with this and that is my favorite verse.Matthew 19:26
Jesus looked at them and said, βWith man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.β

interesting. But I'm still thinking of what the dragon means. The only mention of it is Rahab. Or maybe I'm just thinking the wrong way.

Why have you used a dragon image? The dragon is Satan

It also says in the bible (1 Peter 5:8) that Satan is like a lion. does that mean he is one?
there are two things I came across while studying dragons from the bible.
1) It is a name for Satan, but it is to describe Satan. It also calls him the serpent(snakes) but we know that serpents where made by God. It is just another way to describe him, he tricks his pray LIKE a snake. It doesn't mean he IS a snake. same with a dragon. he is LIKE a powerful beast.
It does describe Satan but ONLY Satan. if you look closely at the text of Revelation 20:2 and many like it. It has the key words THE DRAGON. not THE DRAGON(S). meaning ONLY Satan. "He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years." (Revelation 20:2) It is just a name that Satan was called.
2)Dragons where probably dinosaurs (not so sure like we imagine them with wings and fire-breathing today) They where Powerful beast that where best to avoid. So they probably called the dinosaurs dragons. Because they where dangerous and could not be tamed by people.
There is more I could say but that is the basics of it. another verse that would be good if you do not like the info I provided is this "Philippians 2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth." EVEN SATAN will declare Christ is lord!

Interestingly, as Satan was compared to a roaring lion, Jesus is called the Lion of Judah. Even in that context we can't simply isolate something like a lion and just label it as an evil animal/symbol. So just because a dragon was used as a metaphor to describe Satan doesn't mean that all dragons are evil. The comparison of people to animals is simply used to illustrate the speaker's point in how they behave, act, their actions, etc.
And surely God also created goats (another animal also commonly associated with evil). "Separate the sheep from the goats" was a metaphor for identifying the righteous and the unrighteous, but surely God wasn't saying that we must stray away from goats, literally. Plus, goats were also used as sacrifices like sheep and cattle were.
Amen! Jesus is lord! God rules over all!

Thank you for getting my point straight. I am not very good at explaining things. In the end all glory of my art is to God! any skills, messages within the art, ect. I don't want any of what he deserves to have. And if any of it does not bring glory to God,let it be blamed on me, for I am imperfect and in need of a savior.

This is suppose to be a dragon of Christ. It is not Satan, just a creature that bows to it's creature. But it can be taken that way too.
