thanks! it's from versailles, in france. i was there 3 years ago this month on a trip with my senior class. my photography has improved since then, but it's still fun to dig up old pictures.

i feel i'm in a dream and i'm the king and it's just crazy. Soft tones and a blurred vision are always a good match. Nice.

Ah, this was definitely worth the submit!
Some beautiful work here, with just the right balance of complexity and symmetry to make for an effective shot. This is true architectural photography, and really shows the majesty and pure strength of the building. On the contrary to ~abase , however, I think that the people actually added photographically to this image; they aren't so noticeable, but when they are noticed, they add a sense of scale not so prominent in this picture. That said, what really adds the sense of scale, however, is what looks like a man playing the organ, and the man in black walking past him.
I love the roof; it looks similar to trees branching out heavenwards, and indeed, the top of the roof does look like clouds in a blue sky; this really adds to the element of mysticism predominant in the picture.
(Incidentally, this beats the example picture hands down, and would even without such delicious misting; the example is slightly off center, and includes, for reasons unknown at this stage, the entrance, which simply detracts from the rest of the shot, as well as the horrible use of negative space at the top.)
Brilliant and awe inspiring, a work of photographic and digital genius, and thus, a favourite

i dunno man
I think this is one of your better pictures
you capture both walls, floor and roof giving it a good sence of closure and that's it's indoors and nothing is being missed out
the bluring/misting on the detail I think is really good
i suck at commenting on photography but I think this is really good

The blurred look and the extreme whiteness make it look. . . otherworldly. Shame about the people though. . .

they probably would have thought i was a terrorist. haha.

Hey, whatever clears the room. Worse has been done, and if it's all in the name of art, then your mock terrorism is basically a public service.
