"So, your girlfriend got you that?" I ask him.
"Yeah! Ain't she the cutest? It's exactly like the one from the game!" He replies.
"Aren't you the one who's supposed to gift her dolls? You two are so weird, man."
"You are just jealous of us!" He said annoyed.
Yeah, kind of.
I really am happy that he's found a girl that shares his passions like that. Wish I could find even a girl that gave me the time of day.
"Oh well, she'll be right here, watching me play" he said as he put the Gwen doll right beside his monitor. "Just like the good old days, sweet, simple, and out of control!"

What a dork.
He's cool, tho.
I invited him over to my house to play some league, it's been ages since we've played like this. It really gives it a different vibe to game nights, being able to actually have fun together and have some drinks.
I loaded up the client and set up the queue for some chill aram matches…
"You got Gwen! No fair!" He shouted.
"I just played her once, man, I'll trade her with you if you want." "No, no no, I want you to see if you like her, me and little Gwen over here will be judging you." He replied.
"All right, I'll try to put on a good show for her, then." I said while setting up my runes and waiting for the game to start. This guy started humming that violin theme of hers during the loading screen.
"Hey, don't you think you are a little bit… obsessed?" "She only came out a week ago, dude, let me enjoy the hype of a new cute champ, all right? I fell in love with her cute lolita design the first time I saw her. Then I saw her moving and dancing? She's adorable beyond belief!"
I just smiled listening to this guy ramble about how much he wanted to play with her curly hair or whatever. He's always like this, the K/DA girls almost gave him a hearth attack with that new music video and he played Seraphine nonstop for weeks. This kind of cutesy champs are made for weirdos like him, willing to spend stupid amounts of money on shiny skins and such.
"All set, then. Let's play!" He finally said when the game loaded up. "Keep an eye out on him, all right little…G-gwen?"
"Everything all right?" I asked, turning my head towards his desk. "It fell off! Her eye! Where is it?"
"Wait, what? Wasn't the doll brand new?"
He turned to me to try and explain what he saw, but he just gave me a weird look and looked at his monitor again.
"Her… pink button eye fell off…"
"We'll try and fix it after this game. Oh man, your girl better not know about this, haha!" I said jokingly, turning to the game again.
"So, I can cast my W and be safe from most poking right? That's so useful!."
"Y-yeah, then you can poke them with your E… try and do that."
"Uh, pretty good move. Hey, don't feel down, man." I started, realizing something was off about him. "We'll fix your doll, it'll be like nothing ever happened to her, don't worry."
He's quite the sensitive guy, the kind that cries watching a movie and wants to rescue every animal he sees on the street. I get it, his new gift broke, and it means a lot to him.
I kept on trying to get some nice trades with Gwen and her giant scissors. I felt an itch on my left eye, so I backed down for a bit and tried to scratch it.
It felt like dirt might gone into it.
Then the other one. That's so annoying.
"Hey man, try not to fight, I can't play with this damn itch."
"S-sure." He said softly.
"What's little Gwen's opinion on my moves so far?"
He looked at me again. Then back to his doll with a worried face.
"She's… still trying to make sense of it, I guess."
"What does that even mean? Let me get my ult and show you what I can do."
With my teary eyes, I got back to the game, going up against the enemy Malphite, who just had reached level 6.
"Am I safe from his ult in my mist? How does that work?"
I got no response.
"All right, let me try."  I got killed.
"Ok, I needed to buy something, anyway"
My friend over here doesn't seem to be getting in a better mood, he just keeps staring at his monitor, making no comments at all. I was trying my best to keep the mood up.
"That's it, level 6! I'm a fully equipped Gwen now!" I said. He screamed.
"Her hair! How? When did it fall off?"
"It fell off? What? Are you messing with me?"
He just grabbed the little doll and showed it to me.
"Look at this!"
Her cute blue curls were nowhere to be seen. What he had in hand was just a plain rag doll with just one blue eye and a white dress. He was crying, scared.
"Don't cry, my friend! We can still fix that! My sister has some needles and thread up in her room, we can give it a try and fix it ourselves!"
His eyes were fixated on me, it felt like he was scanning my face, or looking for something behind me. "Are you ok?" He asked me.
"Me? But I feel fantastic! Here, let's finish the game, I think I'm getting the hang of Gwen already, she's quite fun!"
I saw as he didn't stop looking at my face, so I just gave him a honest smile and went back to play.
He put the little doll beside his monitor again and tried to play too.
I threw out Gwen's R to the enemy and slowed it down, allowing me to get some slashes in, recasting my ult to damage them even more and…
"Snip snip!" I yelled. "It's so satisfying to do that, I love it! Look, I got a double kill already!"

I couldn't stop smiling, I was genuinely happy to be performing well on the game and of course, to spend some time with my best friend. After getting those kills, the whole team approached the tower, managing to bring it down.
I applauded the effort! Literally! My hands came together and did a soft and quiet series of claps, the sound of them being muffled by the dainty dark blue gloves I was wearing.
"How did your little Gwen like that? I am getting better and better at this!" I asked my friend with my lovely classy accent. He didn't respond. I saw him glance at me with a tear in his eye, pointing at the doll once again with his left hand.
"Oh no! Her beautiful frilly dress is gone! I can't believe what's happening to her, I promise you I'll make her good as new, I told you we have the right tools in this house!"
"You have been slain" I heard from my screen.
"Good, now I have some time to take a look at the damages. Let me see."
I got up from my seat in a quick motion, making the fluff of my hair bounce around in my field of view. I adjusted my curls to each side and gave a quick look on the reflection on my phone just to make sure my cute deep blue bows were still in place.
My pretty blue and purple eyes were as stunning as always, accentuated by my carefully applied black mascara.
I took a step towards my friend who only gazed at me with his scared face to take the doll from his hands.
"Let's see, oh wow! Her other eye is gone too, just what is happening to this poor thing?" I said, blinking rapidly to get rid of another annoying dirt on my right eye.
"If it fell off, it must be somewhere on the floor, there, have you looked for any of the missing pieces?"
"I… N-no, I haven't." He could barely talk, he must be so embarrassed to have ruined the lovely gift his beloved gave to him.
I kneeled down to the ground lifting up my delicate dress, feeling the subtle weight of my breasts on my chest and looked for anything resembling a piece of blue or white fabric.
"There's nothing here! They can't just vanish out of thin air, can they?" I said getting up again, putting my hands in the air over my shoulders.

"If they can vanish like that, they can also… appear again, right? S-somewhere else?" He told me, almost in the verge of tears. But still holding his sight directly to my eyes. "Well, if you want to see it that way… I guess yeah, it could!"
What is he talking about? How would a piece of fabric just vanish and magically manifest itself someplace else? "Please, stop crying. Let's just finish the game and I'll fix her up and make her good as new, all right?"
"G-gwen?" He asked.
"Yes, I'll fix Gwen!"
This time, I took the poor little doll with me to my desk, and put her right beside my monitor.
I tried grabbing a seat again, but this fluffy dress of mine is a pain to sit in.
I tried putting it down but parts of it just kept on jumping up, and if I wasn't careful, I might show something that I shouldn't to my friend over there.
I decided to cross my legs and tuck the dress underneath them, I grabbed the mouse and keyboard and put my delicate hands over them, dedicating my full attention to finishing the game.

"We almost have this, we must not give up!" I told him to try and cheer him up.
Our team managed to take down another tower while we were distracted with the doll, so it was up to us to catch up and manage to defeat the enemy. With a clunky but functional build, I managed to duel my way trough these tough foes. I had to do double the work to be honest, as my friend over there was barely touching his mouse.
I danced around the battlefield with my E, making swift attacks here and there.
My reflexes helped me avoid some annoying skillshots with my W and the satisfying sound of the snips paved the way to our victory.
"Look at that, little Gwen! I did it!"
I looked back at her, but she could no longer be called Gwen now, I never noticed when or how, but her cute stockings and blue shoes had disappeared completely, there was nothing in her body that could make me recognize it as her.

I looked back at the victory screen, and clicked away to get back to the client.  "That's enough!" I began. "I promised to fix her up and that's what I'll do!"
I grabbed the doll with my right arm and got up from my seat again, liberating my messy skirt, letting it fall down on my legs, which had already been covered with a silky smooth pair of blue stocking that didn't even match each other, but looked extremely cute on me.
"I know what I need, scissors, needles and thread, just like the tools my maker used to have!"
I ran to the stairs towards my sister's room, where she had everything I would need.
"Wait for me and take good care of my little friend here." I said putting the doll on my friend's desk.
He had his eyes wide open and looked like he wanted to say something.
"You'll be even more surprised when you see a true master seamstress in action!"

Trying out something new! Would this be better as a plain text story? Or a shorter form caption?
Please let me know what you think.

And by the way, yes. That's me, obsessed over Gwen.

I'll still write more of the longer content, but there's some ideas where I can't go on for too much, as always, I'm glad you like them!
