I keep wondering if I'm making Libinai TOO robotic sounding... Yeh, I dunno. Sorry, ~kenken2002 if I'm messing up your character
There's a little more color in this comic if only because of the various things I felt needed color (eyes, as usual, but also Libinai's circuitry and energy blasts). I tried to keep it sorta faded though, since this is supposed to be primarily greyscale...
Energy Blast goes VOOOOOOOO!!! and THOOM! Haha, I've been reading too many Marvel Comics, sounds effects amuse me now :3 I don't like super noisy energy blasts though (like in DBZ) they're better if it's just some sort of quiet noise to go with big flashy light...

... That would be the realistic thing, yes. I do try to stick to that, but sometimes... Sometimes, I just let myself use Comic Logic, since I do it so rarely...
besides, I think the energy blast involved here has a little more to do with actual Force then with Heat... But I could be wrong, who knows

Well,I was real close to that huh.
Well,force often includes friction and friction produces heat so it's a high probability but for all I know,you might've had him escape from the blast and hide somewhere until Libinai spots him again.
Also,I forgot to say this but nice work on the lights,very flashy.

I love drawing Body Language. I try to make characters really distinct in how they use theirs, because of how fascinating it is to me. It can reveal so much about them...

Pfft, given the way he's going in the comics right now? He's almost definitely got some sort of sleeping problems.
Not to mention he's pretty much officially insane as of 'IronMan Director of Shield: Haunted' (It continues to bug me that no one has addressed the fact that, even though there's an explanation for his hallucinations, since they're still being caused by his mind itself, he's technically still crazy. But I guess it wouldn't be as fun a comic if they hauled him off... Or actually... OH SNAP, A PLOT BUNNY! GET AWAY, GET AWAAAAAY, I CAN'T DEAL WITH YOU! NOOOO!)

I likes comics, too, but only really have access to manga, because 1) They almost never have comics in the library, 2) I'm in a small town university whose bookstore does not sell comics, 3) I can find manga online but not Marvel or DC, and 4) my sister wouldn'tlet me read her X-men comic book before I went to uni. -.-*!!!! But I think I'm gonna avoid those particular comics, 'cause I like Tony. I have read a few of the original Ironman comics.

Um, I like the Tony-Pepper ship in the movieverse, but I don't know about in the comicverse because I haven't read the comics. I'm guessing from your actions that it isn't that great or likely or whatever. Personaly, I don't particularly care one way or another. I have ships I like for the various stuff I read and watch, but I'm not gonna go around declaring that '(blankxblank) is the One True Ship and all others are Wrong'. Basically, you can like the ships you like, I'll like the ships I like, and if we happen to like the same ships for something, yays, we can babble about how great it is together. If not, I won't try to convert you to my ship if you don't try to convert me to yours. (Yeah. my position on shipping wars is sitting on the sidelines waving my little flag and watching all the pretty colors from the explosions)

Ah, ok, I totally respect that. You're right, I don't really support Tony/Pepper. It's, admittedly, partially because there is a pairing I prefer more, but that's not the main reason. I hope you don't mind me explaining, I'm not trying to stop you from supporting it, I just really feel the need to explain why I don't, for some reason...
it's just... For one, Pepper is married to someone else in the comic. Like, married. And the guy is one of Tony's close friends, named Happy (he's not really shown much in the movie, hopefully the next one will change that since he's actually really cool). So that just erks at me.
Also, I dislike the fact that it seems to be impossible for any male and female leading characters to have a close but platonic relationship in the movies. I love the dynamic between Tony and Pepper, but I feel (personally, this is just my opinion) that wouldn't be as interesting if it turned into a full romance.
I'm sorry I ended up ranting at you, I swear I'm not trying to change your opinion on the subject, it's just... Everyone I know, even the ones who support a different pairing for the comic, likes Tony with Pepper in the movie, while I really think it'd be cool if they stayed just close friends... I think I'm just tired of the main leading female character always turning into the love interest... Sorry for ranting, I think I needed to get it off my chest

Hey, no problem at all! And I actually do know who Happy is - I mentioned I'd read some of the riginal comics, remember? - and one of them was the one where Happy first comes to work for Tony! ^^! And you're right - I remember that Happy seems to be pretty fond of Pepper in the comics I read - didn't get very far into them - and I think that, in the comic world, at least, they'd make a great couple! (I knew there was a reason I had a notion that there was someone else Pepper was suposed to be with in the comics...) And they get married? Yays!
I have no problem with you ranting to me, nor did it feel like you were trying to convert me - I completely understand feeling the need to explain to someone, anyone, why you feel the way you do about a certain topic. And, as I've said on various occasions to various people, some people offer a shoulder to cry on. I offer an ear to gripe in. There are times you just need someone to vent to and plot imaginary vengence with. I am that person. And you're right, Happy is a totally awesome character and I hope he's more prominantly featured in the next movie, too! (Confession time: I borrowed an anothology volume of the original Ironman comics the library happened to have and read some of them before I saw the movie, and then I went totally geek on my sister by pointing out Happy and saying that he was in the comics and everything.) So, yeah. Rant away. Heck, if you ever need someone to just complain about something to, feel free to sent me a note.
