No Concept Art Repaint for a change. Ever since I started repainting I wantedt to make a Belle with that look. I had a tough fight with the size of her eyes..thanks to all my online doll friends who supported me in giving advise to get them right!She's got a full facial repaint by using acrylic paints only. As you might see I also changed her hair style to make it more movie accurate. I still love creating new hairstyles on dolls the most! I added some lashes with power glue.
Base doll was the 2013 singing Belle from the US Online Disney Store. Too bad she sings 'Something There' and not 'Belle'.
Oh and don't you worry! I'll still keep on creating Concept Art Doll! I just needed a break from that after repainting nothing else for months now. There might be also a Concept Art Belle in the future..

I have the exact same singing Belle doll that I've been DYING to repaint. I wish that not all of the singing Belles ever made sand 'Something There'. I'd love to have one that sings the reprise of 'Belle'.
On top of that, whatever they use in the Disney Store princess doll hair is the worst. I had to give all of my princess dolls a "Downy Dunk" when I bought them.

I actually never had problems with any of the DS princesses hair...except for Anna's, her hair's always a looong fight :/

I needed to cut her hair to make it more movie accurate and so I used some of the left overs (only like 2 hanks) for the front area. It's glued with Power Glue. Here you can see her shortly after I glued the parts to her head. After it was dry I painted a little bit over it with strongly diluted acrylic paints and added a thin hairline. I don't have any reroot equipment yet and never rerootet anything anyway and only painting a hairline was no option for me. So I tried that one. Next time I just need to protect her face from the glue as it spilled a little bit. But it came of pretty easy with pure aceton

Well, I'm going to start small and paint on a head of a broken Barbie doll for practice. I wouldn't want to ruin a Disney doll on my first try!

I wouldn't recommend that either! Always use an old doll for the first try! I ruined my Mattel Meg after my first try, really regret that :/
