Yeah, I play Zelda, too!The Wind Waker was my first Zelda game. I was constantly annoyed by the interruptions of other characters via the Pirate Charm to state the obvious or the pointless. It was exactly like having a cell phone. Which is why I never want one.
Got the idea from my uncle, who called us about 40 times in his first week of having his first cell phone before the novelty of being able to call from anywhere wore out.

if you havent already, you need to hit up some of the older zelda games too. i definitely know how it is with teh fairies. phantom hourglass is a must if you are a wind waker fan. and twilight princess is the shit.

I've completed Twilight Princess, which was fabulous, and recently I've started playing through Majora's Mask. I did like the Minish Cap, and am very much looking forward to Phantom Hourglass.
I just haven't had very many funny ideas with Zelda games, they tend to be more serious.
