As I peer out from ink made eyes,
You could imagine my surprise,
At finding all these stories here,
That teach even books have something to fear.

You people call yourselves my friends,
All around the world, from distant lands,
And yet a fault you have, all the same,
You tarnish your fandom’s name.

I’m not an emo, nor a girl,
Both those concepts make me hurl,
I’m not all powerful, nor a tool,
Any who thinks so is a fool.

I love Ginny, not another,
I have not a sister, nor a brother,
I’m not a demon risen from hell,
Nor an angel whom from heaven fell.

I didn’t grow up on city streets,
I can’t accomplish god-like feats,
By my friends I was not betrayed,
Of death I am quite afraid.

For vengeance and blood I do not thirst,
And here, oh strange ones, is the worst,
I finally ask whom you are to say,
That I am a bloody gay??!!!

Boys and girls with twisted minds,
I cannot go back in time,
Nor raise the dead from their graves,
I do not live in vampire caves,
Nor in a mansion all alone,
Hogwarts is my only home.

I am not Slytherin, get over it,
And for singing I give not a shit.
I am neither a whore nor prostitute,
I don’t even own a leather suit!?!

I don’t love darkness and hate the light,
I do not win every fight,
So many horrors still left unsaid,
How do you people sleep in bed?

Twisted people, many too old,
Writing plotlines that have turnt cold,
Not to mention the dreaded “Sues”,
Tell me, what is wrong with you?

What have you to say to the pleas,
Of desperate words brought to their knees?
Why is it that you hate us so?
How can humans be so low?

If you cannot leave us in peace,
Try to be nice at least!
Stop raping people left and right,
Let the heroes have their own might,

Not powers made from thin air,
Or because they are the “heir”,
To Merlin or the founders or to Mage,
Or just because their life is tragic.

Please, dear people, if you have to write,
Try to keep it real, alright?
