Description what is this thing i am holding is it called a pencil i forget


Busted these out today. Haven't drawn in millennia. Takes so long to draw now. Nnnnggghhhh rustyyyyy.


Thought I'd start off slowly with the character I know best but dayum Gangfield's hard to draw. So I copied old drawings over again to get back in the swing of how I used to do things. It's not plagiarism if you made the original. Deal with it. Β 


So yap these are the best I could make. Trust me I got a ton other drawings I did today that look like horse-faced butt monkeys.


Anywhoooozle. I unilaterally decided I didn't want him parading around shirtless in the Victorian era anymore. Hence the drastic redo of the first pic. I only really did the shirtless thing as a tip of the hat to his original design. But it was forced. Never liked it anyway. I sincerely apologize for all the naked torsos is your faces. It was bland and unnecessary and I hate thinking about it. Β 


Drawing is hard. Drawing is so freaking hard.

TOTALLY USING THAT SOMEWHERE IN THE FUTURE!!!

Gangfield really is the BEST for dynamic poses and expressions.
Everything about his very nature is so animated in general.
Even when he's sitting still I'm sure he's giving off this "Hum" of suppressed energy.

Deeelightful work here--I love that sitting pose the best.

There's always such life in your drawings and they're always so expressive and unique.


I love these drawings, and I have to agree with the statement on shirtless Gangfeild... it was huge "no no" for someone to be shirtless in that time.

Nah, it doesn't matter to me which era it's in. Gangfield is meant to fall outside the norm as if it's a non-issue. It's the fact that in the context of the character, ripping off his shirt is less "It's pounding time" and far more "I'm insecure and need the female fans". A character like Gangfield isn't meant to be that obvious.


But I will not lie. I still think it's totally go time when someone rips off their shirt and blasts some magic. It's just not go time for Gangfield particularly. Maybe another character, on another day... someday...

These ones took about an hour each. But I'm majorly rusty. When I'm at my peak, a character normally takes 15-30 minutes to draw.
