Hey everyone. Well this was something I did on free comic book day. X-23 with full grey tone markers and inks. I was really proud of it and it took about an hour and a half to do. I want to sell it but not sure what its worth because I sometimes feel my art is not worth anything to anyone these days. I would like to make more sales with what I do that's why I am doing a lot of fan art stuff but that still not working. I was told by my friend I should sell it for 40 bucks but what do you guys think? I want to do more art like this but only if it will sell. Well I hope you guys like it

Fantastic work, and definitely worth something. I'd say that you could certainly sell this. For exactly how much, I'm not sure (that's a bit beyond my area of expertise), but if you can't get at least $20-$30 for each hour you put into your art, I'd say you're getting underpaid.

i feel you buddy, and thank you for the comment as well, I will do a bunch of these and try and sell them at Fan Expo this year. I just need to get a portfolio to keep them in. I just sketch out a Dr. Doom.

well the point is you did the work and you used some epic markers that don't come cheep. and it also depends on how big it is too hun. when you add that all up you can get an idea of how much you can sell something like this. I can't say exactly what price . . . but that can help you to get an idea. so it just really depends on your material you use on your work and the time.
and I have to say I'm really glad your using those markers with your inks. they seem to work very well together on pic's like this. keep it up on this work hun

You did great work on it! The shading and tones would be good enough on the computer, but you did them traditionally, which kicks it up a notch. I especially like the highlights on her hair, they break up the solid forms and suggest flowing hair well.
