Sorry for the shitty picture but I took those in a huge hurry before I dashed them off to be shipped. Rarity looks significantly better if you don't enlarge the picture.
I worked super crazy hard on her, which is probably overkill since this is going to a 7 year old. I wouldn't be surprised if her tail comes off within a week of receiving, but I did sew it in just in case. I also worked really hard to make her hair as show accurate as possible, which I'm sure the little girl won't care about. Her and her twin sister would probably be intent if I made vaguely blue and white ponies with vaguely rainbow and purple hair. But what can I say, I take a lot of pride in my work.
It's a funny story how the decision came to make these ponies for those girls. My dad's best friend in the world (his name is Burak) had recently moved back to Turkey, and so they were planning on making him a care package (mostly full of alcohol and cigars, but what can you do) when my dad once again brought up how any grown man that likes ponies is insane. I tried arguing with him that it is only society that says men can't like cute colorful things and that it's a good show and such, but then he shot back this example:
Burak's twin daughters love My Little Pony and wanted to make the ponies out of clay. They are 7 so of course they couldn't figure out how to do it themselves, so their mom googled, god knows why, "Making Ponies". Yes. *That* is what she googled. I have no earthly idea why she didn't google "how to make ponies out of clay" or even "making clay ponies" but no. Just "making ponies". Also apparently the safe search was off, so they got an image page full of pony porn. Those poor girls. I won the argument when I told my dad that there was the nastiest, most fetishist porn of every single movie and tv show he likes, so there are horny nut jobs in every fandom.
Long story short the girls didn't have pony toys or wanted better ones than the plastic ones you can buy so I made them their favorites. They haven't gotten them yet so I sincerely hope they like them.
