Y'all know I wouldn't really do that to Ringo, right? ^^'This was done for my U.S. History class. One of the choices we could do for the reading's HW was a political cartoon. I picked the section about courtships in the colonies, and one of the many means of marriage was what is called "backcountry marriage". Briefly, it's where a man can "steal" his bride, usually at her consent. In addition, the woman could already be married and be carried off by some other guy.
Sooo... here's colonial John runnin' off with me slung over his shoulder. And Ringo's not the least bit happy about it. XD
Poor Richie...you know I love you.
This was originally for HW, but I wanted to post it for kicks. That, and I haven't posted anything for almost 2 weeks. ^^'
