I see many of you have been enjoying my Beatle-y political cartoons, so here's another, my friends! ^^"Fed. vs Rep." stands for "Federalists vs Republicans", btw.
Colonial Paul and colonial John represent (no duh) the Federalist Party and the Republican Party at the beginning of America as a country. They're arguing over whether there should be strong state governments or a strong central government. George Washington is here because back then, he didn't approve of the two-party system, fearing that the new country would split as a result.
This came before the "Nationalism" one actually, but this one was being graded by my teacher at that time, so here it is!

Nice pic. And very fitting. Because what do the Beatles, and a "Two Party System" have in common? Both are from the UK....when the US was born, people wanted to avoid all of the mistakes of the UK, also, when UK's parties battled, the colonies took the damage. But I wonder...there was a "Republican" party back in the "early" era? I heard that there were many parties called "Republican" throughout the history of the USA (and confusingly, what's now the "Democrats" was once the "Democratic Republicans")

I'll progressively move towards modern ones as the school year goes on, 'cuz these are basically school assignments I'm posting. ^^ But if I have time, then sure, I'll try to squeeze in some modern ones ahead of time.
