Description
Like the X2 and several other Crossbone Vanguard mobile suits, this kit's main hand-held weapon is a shot lancer. I built it using cobbled together spare parts from the MG Providence Gundam, HG Calamity Gundam, RG Sinanju, HGUC Rozen Zulu, as well as hand crafted parts made of pla plate. The top two pics show the lance in its normal form. When the kit is in its quasi mobile armor mode, the lance transforms slightly and mounts onto the front skirt armor to sort of mimic the Rafflesia's downward-facing beam cannon, as shown in the second and third pics. In this form the portion of the weapon with the thrusters rotates so the thrusters point downward and the scope rotates and flips snug under that same portion. The final pic shows the MS posing with the lance. Unlike most shot lancers, this one has a beam gun barrel where the pointed lance tip would normally be, so when it needs to actually use the weapon as a lance, it generates a piercing beam tip.
