Since the 1st image of this character was posted, I've always had this excitement to find some time to draw some fanart of it. But time wasn't exactly agreeing with me, so I told myself that I would eventually get to it.
As every new sketch was posted of it, the want to draw it grew.

I know it's more than a week too late for him to see how much I liked his concept and character designs of this idea well enough to wanna draw fanart of it, but this is one form that I can show the impact he's left on my artistic growth and influence.

And so here's to you, Mr. Mike Wieringo .
Although your passing came way too soon, the mark that you've made will last a long way.
