This is my submission for Project Rooftop's Storm: All-Weather Wear Redesign Contest. Actually, this is a much cleaned up version. I was up against the wall with ten minutes to the deadline so what I submitted ended up a little rough around the edges to say the least.

At first I was excited about redesigning Storm. She's awesome, always has been, always will be. Then all the ideas I was coming up with had been seen before or variations on the excellent Kris Anka design the character currently sports in the X-men comics 'verse, so I decided to leave it alone. Naturally, on the 12th hour, I came up with something I was happy with and rushed that bad boy through.

I've also started using Procreate in an effort to go fully digital (saving time, money and midnight burning- of-unsatisfactory-work sessions) which has been a lot more fun than I thought it would be. Procreate on the iPad is, hopefully, going to be a gateway drug to a Cintiq Tablet (when my skill level and bank account allow).

Up next I'm redesigning a vintage superhero from the 30's which may or may not act as a spring board for a limited web series, depending which way the wind blows.
