Here's a redesign for DC comics Zatanna, Mistress of Magic.Zatanna's original design is simple, classic and iconic. Perfect for the stage but as a sorceress supreme and crime fighting Justice Leaguer, I thought she could use something a little more robust.
My solution was to remix the tuxedo with a little armoured detail and lose the fishnets (It's probably hard enough fighting crime without being mistaken for a cocktail waitress at a Vegas casino). With this design she can vanish off stage after an encore performance and straight into the mystical heat of battle.
Below is an alternate redesign for more informal super hero-ing biz, though Zee never leaves Shadowcrest without her trademark top hat. ylsuoivbO.

I like this very much! Glad to see the fishnets go. I honestly can't understand why people insist on including the fishnets in redesigns.
