Description
This is my design for the O2 Academy Make Your Mark competition, the winners get to have their work displayed on soundboards at the Glasgow venue, which is super exciting.

With 'GIG' I wanted to show the vibrancy of music and give a real sense of that high energy kick you get at live shows. Given Glasgow's history of alternative music, the performer's a bit of a punk and she's rocking some tartan while thrilling the crowd.

As part of the brief we had to show O2's brand values and colour palette so the performer is standing confidently, connecting with her crowd through a megaphone. Bold, open and clear.

It's a party too, a celebration. 10 years of music at the O2 Academy, reason enough to throw a birthday gig!
