that fanfic wasn't that bad though, its ending was satisfyingly realistic along with that fact that they didn't mention anything that even nudged towards romance, it simply tackled the psychological effects of how "almost human" Eldar look
and also a Catachan guardsman with a necklace full of Eldar ears is an idea i've had for years now
