In some tellings of the original story, the mirror was far more polite and personable. In addition, it wasn't just informative, but downright manipulative. I recall one instance in which the mirror, depending on your interpretation, purposely brought about her downfall by playing her pride.
Tgere is a great heap of story potential here.

I really like the idea of a manipulative mirror, playing the queen like a puppet to her downfall, these kind of dark twists are always fun.

Yeah, It's a really fun concept to play around with. I'd love to draw more original stuff with this concept, if possible. Or play around with the already existing one, from snow white where, the evil queen is getting perused by an odd entity through a mirror and slowly falling for it's advances. XD
